Football Game Preview: Northmor Golden Knights vs. East Knox Bulldogs

The Northmor Golden Knights will take on the East Knox Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Northmor is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 37 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Fredericktown on Friday. They took a 25-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freddies.

Although Northmor took the loss, they still got scores from Garrett Deisch and Conner Stockdale.

Meanwhile, East Knox scored the most points they've had this season last Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 36-35 to Cardington-Lincoln. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Pirates since last Friday.

Northmor has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for East Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Northmor against East Knox in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. Will the Golden Knights repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
