Soccer Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss

Reed-Custer and Beecher squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Reed-Custer had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2. Reed-Custer were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Beecher earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Aurora Haake and Gwen Stewart scored both of Reed-Custer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 40 goals.

Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Beecher, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Reed-Custer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beecher, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Coal City on the 20th.
