Baseball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Takes a Loss

Averill Park hit Christian Brothers Academy with a four-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Brothers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 5-4. The Brothers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Christian Brothers Academy dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Averill Park, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.
