Basketball Recap: Celeste Gets the Win

Celeste won the last time they faced Alba-Golden and things went their way on Saturday too. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Celeste Blue Devils made off with a 44-43 win over the Alba-Golden Panthers.

The victory got Celeste back to even at 9-9. As for Alba-Golden, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Celeste will square off against Wolfe City at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alba-Golden, they will welcome Martins Mill at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Martins Mill's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
