McDonogh 35 won the last time they faced Frederick A. Douglass and things went their way on Friday too. The Roneagles secured a 26-20 W over the Bobcats. The Roneagles pushed the score to 26-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats cut but never quite recovered from.

The win made it two in a row for McDonogh 35 and bumps their season record up to 6-3. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 4-3 Carver Collegiate Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 59.8% over those games). As for Frederick A. Douglass, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
