Volleyball Recap: Lead-Deadwood Takes a Loss

Lead-Deadwood came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Custer Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in September.

Lead-Deadwood was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-21.

Lead-Deadwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Custer, their victory bumped their record up to 25-12.

As of now, neither Lead-Deadwood nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
