1 of 1 Academy posted their biggest win since November 29, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Mount Zion Christian Academy, posting a 69-41 win on the road. Given 1 of 1 Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Mount Zion Christian Academy is ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
1 of 1 Academy found their leader in underclassman Yohance Conner, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Conner hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Kabba Fanta was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
In what's become a running theme this season, Bullis gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They breezed by Episcopal on the road to the tune of 65-36. The win was nothing new for Bullis as they're now sitting on four straight.
1 of 1 Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Bullis, their win was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
