Baseball Recap: Water Canyon Comes Up Short at Home Against El Capitan

Water Canyon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 25-1 to the El Capitan Eagles on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The win (which was El Capitan's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Water Canyon has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Milford on the 12th. As for El Capitan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-4 victory against Joseph City on the 6th.
