Basketball Recap: Mount De Sales Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mount de Sales Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Katie Carroll. The Mount de Sales Academy Sailors took down the Bryn Mawr Mawrtians 47-28 on Wednesday thanks in part to Carroll, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Another player making a difference was Ella Powers, who posted seven points and six steals. Those six steals gave her a new career-high.

Mount de Sales Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Bryn Mawr, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount de Sales Academy will host Maryvale Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryn Mawr, they will welcome Gerstell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
