Football Recap: Soap Lake Takes a Loss

Soap Lake's last matchup with Waterville/Mansfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Eagles came up short against Waterville/Mansfield, falling 36-14. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Soap Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Waterville/Mansfield, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coming up, Soap Lake will venture away from home to take on Entiat at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Waterville/Mansfield, they will take on La Conner at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Waterville/Mansfield will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
