Soccer Game Preview: Stevens vs. Warren

Stevens is 2-7 against Warren since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Stevens Falcons will welcome the Warren Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stevens' offense. They came up short against Taft on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Raiders are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, Warren hasn't lost a match since January 24th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Holmes. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Addy Cooper and Abigail Rice scored all five of Warren's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
