Basketball Recap: Chenango Forks Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Susquehanna Valley came into Friday's match looking for another win against Chenango Forks, but Ethan Vaseleck wouldn't allow it. The Chenango Forks Blue Devils put the hurt on the Susquehanna Valley Sabers with a sharp 50-30 victory on Friday thanks in part to Vaseleck, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points along with eight boards and four blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Sam Paske was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Chenango Forks' win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Susquehanna Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chenango Forks will face off against Waverly at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susquehanna Valley, they will challenge Oneonta at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
