Aurora West College Prep Academy entered their tilt with Vanguard Classical East on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Hawks back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25, 26-24.

Clementine Uwamahoro paced Aurora West College Prep Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Uwamahoro got some help from Lizett Diaz and her six assists. Uwamahoro was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Aurora West College Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Vanguard Classical East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Aurora West College Prep Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against William Smith on the 29th. Vanguard Classical East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
