Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Prairieville Hurricanes as they made off with a 35-14 win.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy has already played their next contest, a 48-6 victory against Abbeville on the 11th. As for Prairieville, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Parkview Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
