Elkhart is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Fairfield is on a nine-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Elks will welcome the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
If Westwood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Elkhart, they should've done a better job of containing Cali Boyd. The Elks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Boyd, who had 24 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last seven times she's played.
Elkhart had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.
