Chattanooga Christian has gone 8-1 against Bradley Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Chargers will look to defend their home field  against the Bears  at 6:00  p.m. Chattanooga Christian is coming into the  game hot, having won their last five games.
Last Wednesday, Chattanooga Christian was able to grind out a solid  win over Knoxville Catholic, taking the game  9-5.
The team  relied heavily on  Millie Fox, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alli Matthews, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Chattanooga Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .394 or higher in nine consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile,  Bradley Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of McMinn County by a score of  5-4.
  Karly Farkas was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Lynlee Hodge was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Chattanooga Christian's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-4. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bradley Central, they now  have a losing record of 9-10-1.
Friday's   contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chattanooga Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .390. However, it's not like Bradley Central struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Chattanooga Christian was able to grind out a solid  victory over Bradley Central when the teams last played  back in March, winning  11-6. Do  the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
