Baseball Recap: Riverside Indian Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Riverside Indian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Granite, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Riverside Indian was the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Granite on Monday. Considering the Braves have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Isaac Hernandez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Landon Davis was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Riverside Indian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Granite, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Riverside Indian will head out to take on Fletcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granite, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Big Pasture at 6:00 p.m. on April 10.
