Baseball Recap: LAMP Comes Up Short

LAMP has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.92 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats. The Golden Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

LAMP has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Trinity Presbyterian, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.

While LAMP had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
