Volleyball Recap: Albemarle Takes a Loss

If Albemarle was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Charlottesville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Flucos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Fluvanna County, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Albemarle nor the Flying Flucos have any future games scheduled.
