Two dominant signal callers in Casen Carney and Clay Chapman are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Muenster Hornets will challenge the Albany Lions on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Muenster comes in on eight and Albany on seven.

Muenster is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wellington 63-21. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Carter Heller was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 36 yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, Albany got the win against Quanah on Friday by a conclusive 35-15. The Lions are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seventh matchup they've won by 20+ points this season.

Muenster better keep an eye on Shawn Keen. He was instrumental in Albany's win, picking up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 31 yards and one TD. Keen showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 55 yards.

Muenster's record is now 10-2. As for Albany, their record now sits at an identical 10-2.

Everything came up roses for Muenster against Albany when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-14 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Lions' Calhan Fairchild, who picked up 144 receiving yards and one score.
