There's no place like home for Century, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats on Wednesday as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Centurions, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jaylee Vanmeter was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

In other pitching news, Layla Helman looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Kali Crain was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Century is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Carrier Mills-Stonefort, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrier Mills-Stonefort, they will square off against Cobden at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
