Springport has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hillsdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will head out to take on the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Springport will be strutting in after a win while Hillsdale will be coming in after a loss.

Last Wednesday, Springport made easy work of Stockbridge and carried off a 6-1 victory. Springport haven't had any issues with Stockbridge recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale fell victim to Marshall and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Redhawks. Hillsdale have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springport now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hillsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Springport's way against Hillsdale when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Springport made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
