Ribault extends home winning streak to 18

Recap: Ribault Trojans vs. Spruce Creek Hawks

In what's become a running theme this season, the Ribault Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past Spruce Creek 82-59. Given Ribault's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Spruce Creek is ranked 379th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caleb Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamian Jackson, who scored 18 points along with three steals and two blocks.

Ribault pushed their record up to 17-6 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Spruce Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ribault will take on Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spruce Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Raines at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
