Softball Recap: Wakefield School Takes a Loss

After flying high against Washington-Liberty on Friday, Wakefield School came back down to earth. The Fighting Owls lost 13-3 to the McLean Highlanders on Tuesday. The Fighting Owls have struggled against the Highlanders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Wakefield School's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for McLean, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakefield School will host Yorktown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLean, they will face off against Herndon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
