Basketball Recap: Alleluia Community Sets Scoring Season-High Against Coastal Homeschool

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alleluia Community). They blew past the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes 69-37 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Angels who have now won six contests in a row.

Alleluia Community found their leader in sophomore Alley McBride, who posted 33 points. The matchup was McBride's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Lucy Krementz was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Alleluia Community's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alleluia Community will venture away from home to challenge Peachtree Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Alleluia Community is facing Peachtree Academy at the right time seeing as Peachtree Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they will square off against The Habersham School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
