Soccer Recap: Joliet Catholic Takes a Loss

Joliet Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Carmel Corsairs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Joliet Catholic of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Joliet Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Carmel, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8-2.

Coming up, Joliet Catholic is taking a road trip to square off against Providence Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Catholic's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Joliet Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carmel, they will be playing at home against Highland Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
