East Carter has gone 8-2 against West Carter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Comets at 3:00 p.m.

East Carter might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-3 to Fleming County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, West Carter entered their tilt with Belfry on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Pirates. While the Comets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

West Carter pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for East Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

East Carter took their win against West Carter in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
