Basketball Recap: Milford Victorious

Beatrice came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Milford, but Landon Roth wouldn't allow it. The Milford Eagles walked away with a 73-65 victory over the Beatrice Orangemen on Thursday thanks in part to Roth, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Beatrice, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Milford has already played their next game (against Sutton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Beatrice didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-38 loss against Ralston on the 24th.
