Soccer Recap: Conestoga Comes Up Short

Conestoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Pius X Thunderbolts. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Conestoga couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Francisco Real Roman, who's now up to two this season.

Conestoga's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pius X, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Conestoga will square off against rival The Platte at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pius X is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
