Basketball Recap: Ottawa-Glandorf Comes Up Short

Ottawa-Glandorf suffered their closest loss since March 22, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Van Wert Cougars by a score of 51-48. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Ottawa-Glandorf's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Van Wert, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ottawa-Glandorf will square off against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Van Wert, they will challenge Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
