Basketball Recap: Tinlee Roberts Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Cleveland

Bristow won the last time they faced Cleveland and things went their way on Friday too. The Bristow Pirates enjoyed a cozy 36-20 victory over the Cleveland Tigers.

Bristow's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tinlee Roberts led the charge by putting up ten points in addition to eight boards and four steals. That's the most rebounds Roberts has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Morgan, who earned eight points and seven boards.

Bristow smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Bristow's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Cleveland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Bristow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 42-7 victory against Central on the 10th. As for Cleveland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-22 loss against Perkins-Tryon on the 11th.
