Soccer Recap: Mt. Vernon-Enola Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Joseph last Saturday, Mt. Vernon-Enola came back down to earth. The Warhawks came up short against the Lakeside Rams on Saturday, falling 4-1. Mt. Vernon-Enola were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lakeside earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Mt. Vernon-Enola's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lakeside, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, Mt. Vernon-Enola will face off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
