Basketball Recap: Laverne Takes a Loss

Laverne lost against Vici back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Laverne Tigers took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vici Indians. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laverne's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Vici, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Laverne will be playing in front of their home fans against Sayre at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vici does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
