Baseball Recap: Windham Whippets vs. Plainfield Panthers
Windham lost against Plainfield back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Windham Whippets lost 14-4 to the Plainfield Panthers. Windham has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chase Collins was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2.
Windham's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Plainfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-15 record this season.
Windham will head out on the road to take on Windham RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Plainfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
