For Venture Academy's part, Savanah Espinoza made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Espinoza has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
