Softball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Triumphs

Michigan Lutheran's game back in March was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Howardsville Christian Eagles by a score of 5-1. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Addison Peppers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Addy Wetzel was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Zehner, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

The victory got Michigan Lutheran back to even at 1-1.
