Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Providence Academy Lions

The Buffalo Bison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 94-49 loss at the hands of Providence Academy. While losing is never fun, Buffalo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Providence Academy is ranked second).

Providence Academy found their leader in underclassman Maddyn Greenway, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. Greenway also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hope Counts, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Buffalo dropped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Providence Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Buffalo will head out on the road to challenge Eden Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Roosevelt focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Monday.
