Poteau won the last time they faced Checotah and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Poteau Pirates walked away with a 47-39 win over the Checotah Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Poteau's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Poteau will venture away from home to face off against Sallisaw at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Checotah, they will welcome Jay at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
