Football Game Preview: Tri-Center vs. Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey

Tri-Center will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.

After soaring high against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last week. Tri-Center found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-41 punch to the gut against Underwood.

Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey had a rough outing against Woodward Academy, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey got past Nodaway Valley with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 14-8.

Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Tri-Center's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey can add another positive mark to their record or if Tri-Center can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey's step.
