Soccer Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Valley Vikings by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Vikings are ranked 79th).

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Valley, they pushed their record up to 14-1-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against West Campus on the 16th. Valley has also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Johnson on the 16th.
