On Friday, Cameron Mattingly earned his first-ever forced fumble. He also made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception as Permian took down Lake Ridge 30-28. We marked that as the best performance he's had all season, even better than his effort on October 31st (when he made seven total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown) (Gamescore: 29.75 vs. 21).
