Baseball Recap: Diboll Takes a Loss

If Diboll was feeling good fresh off their 19-1 takedown of Newton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lumberjacks fell just short of the Huntington Red Devils by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Diboll's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7-1. As for Huntington, their record is now 20-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Diboll is set to take on their familiar foe Pollok Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Huntington will challenge rival Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
