Maryvale has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lake Shore Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Maryvale was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to West Seneca East. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Maryvale in their matchups with West Seneca East: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Lake Shore entered their tilt with Mount Mercy Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lake Shore claimed a resounding 60-31 victory over Mount Mercy Academy on the road. Given Lake Shore's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Mount Mercy Academy is ranked 466th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Maryvale's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lake Shore, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
