Volleyball Recap: Golden Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Canyon Cowboys. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 0-0.

Golden Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-4.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Canyon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Coming up, Golden Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Lone Pine on Friday. As for Canyon, they will challenge West Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
