Softball Recap: Waynedale Comes Up Short

Waynedale lost against Northwestern back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Bears took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waynedale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Rodhe, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Waynedale's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Northwestern, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-5.

While Waynedale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
