Pickens came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the David Crockett Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pickens was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Kentlea Davis paced Pickens' offense, picking up six kills. Davis got some help from Lily Clarkson and her nine assists. Clarkson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for David Crockett, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Pickens has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Oceanside Collegiate Academy on the 26th. As for David Crockett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lexington on the 26th.
