Preview: Superior vs. Sandy Creek
Sandy Creek will challenge Superior on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Sandy Creek and three for Superior.
Sandy Creek came up short against Fairbury last Friday, falling 20-34. Sandy Creek's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Connor Crumbliss, who rushed for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 12 tackles Crumbliss was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Superior took a serious blow against Sutton, falling 6-60. Superior were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-46.
