Soccer Game Preview: Palmer vs. Sand Creek

The Palmer Terrors are taking a road trip to challenge the Sand Creek Scorpions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Palmer's offense. They lost 6-0 to Vista Ridge on Tuesday. The loss was Palmer's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sand Creek). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Mitchell on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Sand Creek considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Sand Creek's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Palmer, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-2.

Everything went Palmer's way against Sand Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Palmer made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terrors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
