Softball Recap: Philo Takes a Loss

Philo's last matchup with Sheridan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Electrics lost 7-1 to the Generals. The loss continues a trend for the Electrics in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost six in a row.

Philo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karlee Southall, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

While Philo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
