Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Deerfield

Glenbard East typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Deerfield proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Glenbard East Rams by a score of 58-48. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

The win (which was Deerfield's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Glenbard East, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.

Deerfield and Glenbard East should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Deerfield will face off against Glenbrook North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 94 places (36 vs. 130). Meanwhile, Glenbard East (ranked 125th) will meet Joliet Central (ranked 517th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
